Student experience
Students should ensure that during the 2 week attachment in Rheumatology that they become familiar with:
Students will receive a timetable giving details of the learning opportunities available. This will include attendance at out patient clinics with medical staff and specialist nurses, reviewing day cases admitted to the day unit, ward consultations and dedicated teaching sessions on joint examination. Time is also available for study to read around the topics as noted on the timetables. A proactive approach by the student is recommended in order to cover the learning objectives of this clinical attachment.

- Psoriatic arthritis
- Osteoarthritis
- Osteoporosis
- Ankylosing spondylitis
- Reactive arthritis
- Septic arthritis
- Gout and pseudogout
- SLE
- Scleroderma
- Systemic vasculitis
