About Us

The Medical Education Centre is situated on D floor at the Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust. 

The Centre comprises a lecture theatre which seats 100 people, three seminar rooms, resuscitation and manual handling training rooms, a clinical skills lab and a simulation suite. All rooms have AV equipment and we use state of the art manikins for training. Our facilities are available to hire.

The Trust is an Associate Teaching Hospital (part of Sheffield University Medical School) and there are regularly in excess of 50 medical students on site. Students are supported during their attachment by staff in the Medical Undergraduate Office. Students have access to their own common room and lockers are available.  Doctors in training from F1 to ST8 are supported both clinically and administratively by a range of other staff within the department.
