Karen Shaw
Senior Clinical Skills Facilitator
Karen is a senior nurse with many years experience in ward based nursing and clinical skills. She is responsible for the delivery of clinical skills training at Rotherham for undergraduate students as well as doctors and other staff. In addition to her role in clinical skills she has an interest in medical education as a whole and has a MMedSci(Clin,Ed).

Beverly Kissack
Clinical Skills Facilitator
Bev is a Clinical Skills Facilitators who works with both Karen and Jonathan assisting them with training and simulation, but also delivering clinical skills training herself. Bev is a nurse by background and returned to practice in 2002, she has worked ward based, as a Community Nurse and as a Diabetes Support Nurse. 
Following a recent secondment in an education role within Rotherham Hospital, she realised education is where her heart lies.

Jonathan Kyffin
Clinical Educator

Jonathan is the simulation facilitator in the PGME where he works with colleagues to develop, deliver and support innovative training programmes using simulation. He is particularly interesting in using high fidelity simulation to train people about the importance of managing human factors as well as supporting faculty in developing good debriefing skills. He is also keen to promote the wider use of simulation to ensure patient safety.  Jon has worked in the NHS as a registered nurse for over 20 years in a variety of areas including Accident & Emergency and Cardiology.​
