Clinical Simulation in the Undergraduate Programme

For your interest we are currently running the following sessions:
  • Phase 3B medical students: 'Assessment, Planning, and Implementation of Care using the ABCDE Assessment and SBAR Handover Methods'; 'Introduction to Human Factors'
  • Phase 4 medical students: 'Simulated Scenarios Incorporating Teamwork, Communication, Human Factors, Handovers, Prioritisation and Patient Assessments'.
  • Student assistantship medical students: 'Simulated Scenarios Incorporating Common F1 Clinical Situations. Students are expected to build on their teamwork, communication, assessment, and handover skills.

We also run simulation sessions for student ODPs and radiography students.
