The Webster Lounge: our student common room
The Webster Lounge, which is based at the far end of the Education Centre corridor on Level D (opposite end to the Lecture Theatre), is available to Foundation Year 1 & 2 doctors, and students on attachments including:

The Lounge is intended as a place for quiet study and relaxation and also provides a kitchen/dining facility. There are 3 computers in the room with internet access, a black & white printer and a telephone for making internal calls.

- Please ensure you keep the room clean and tidy by putting all rubbish in the bin provided, washing up and putting away any pots and cutlery that you use/cleaning up any spillages.
- Please report any breakages to the Undergraduate Office.
- Please make sure you clean the microwave after use.
- Please ensure that any food placed in the fridge is clearly labelled with your name.
- The fridges will be cleaned on a weekly basis and any food left in there on a Friday will be thrown away (unless you put a note on to request it be kept over the weekend).
- An Honesty Box is used to purchase Coffee, Tea, Sugar and Milk , please see box for recommended contributions
- Any Books/DVDs borrowed must be signed out/in, in the notebook provided.
- Please use your own personal login details for the computers and logout when you are finished.
- If you use the computers out of hours, please ensure you turn them off before you leave.
- Please do not alter the settings on the computers or download inappropriate material
- The computers will be checked regularly and any documents saved on the hard drive deleted
- Please report any problems with the computers/printer to the Undergraduate Office
- Please ensure the student room door is locked at all times and don’t leave the door on the latch.
- If you are the last to leave the room please make sure all windows are closed and lights switched off.
- Please do not divulge the door code to anyone.
