Urology
The Urology Department has one higher specialist trainee and one core trainee. Training exists for core urology but also in the following subspecialist fields which are offered both locally and regionally to both UK and international graduates:
The department is located in an integrated in-patient/out-patient unit and is supported by a 4 consultants, a specialist nurse consultant and a staff grade doctor.
- Stone disease including percutaneous nephrolithotomy
- Laparascopic urology
- Female continence surgery and reconstructive surgery
- Penile reconstructive and implant surgery
