Breast Theatre

WHAT YOU MIGHT EXPERIENCE IN THEATRE: 
Students attending theatre will have the opportunity to:

• See a variety of benign, diagnostic, therapeutic and possibly risk reducing breast surgery; depending on the cases on the list.
• See and re-cap on anatomy in the live patient
• Have targeted discussions focusing on the cases or explore questions you have about breast disease.
• See a multidisciplinary surgical team in action and the collaboration that goes into the performance of surgery.

We welcome engagement - so come ready to participate with the team.

​To get a fuller experience, feel free to come the meet the patients with the operating surgeon(s) and see consenting and marking at 7:30 am prompt in Day Surgery Unit or Theatre Admissions Unit.
