Privacy Policy

​The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to explain how we, The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust Medical Education Centre, protects, uses and shares personal information collected and received from you through this website (http://rftmedicaleducation.com).  Your data will only be used by us in ways stated in this policy and in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679. 

Please note: Our Weebly service is hosted in the USA. How do we collect data?

We collect information through this website in two ways: 
  1. Personal information provided by you: we offer the facility for our website users to submit data through online forms

Why do we collect data from you?
We offer our website users the facility to submit data in order to:

  • Respond to expressions of interest in training events, visiting the department or working with/for us
  • Respond to your suggestions for how we can improve our training
  • Respond to requests to borrow simulation equipment and other resources.
What information do we collect?
The information collected is set out clearly in each of our online forms and includes: 
  • your name
  • your home and/or work addresses
  • your employer, place of work and job role
  • phone numbers and email addresses
  • details of the information that you require or courses you'd like to attend.
How we store, use and share your data
Information submitted by our website users via our online forms is processed by Weebly: site users are advised to refer to Weebly's Privacy Policy to find out more about how Weebly stores, shares and uses data submitted to the website. 

We (the Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust Medical Education Centre) use the information submitted through the online forms to:
  • process and respond to your request for information, a resource or training
  • collate feedback on training programmes
  • monitor interest in training courses and register delegates for couses
  • keep you up to date with new services and resources where you have specifically asked to receive those updates. 

Your data is stored securely and deleted as soon as it is no longer required for our records or day to day operation, in accordance with the GDPR. We do not share data submitted through our online forms with any third parties. ​
