Car
If you travel by car to the hospital you can obtain a parking pass from the Undergraduate Office. A deposit of £10.00 is required for the parking pass which will be refunded on receipt of the parking pass when you leave. Parking will be charged at £5.00 for every 4 week period, e.g.
4 weeks = £5
6 weeks = £10
8 weeks = £10
12 weeks = £15
Bus
No. 69 runs every 20 minutes from Sheffield Interchange via Attercliffe to Rotherham Interchange. No. X78 runs every 10 minutes from Sheffield Interchange via Meadowhall to Rotherham Interchange. Both buses take around 30 minutes for the journey. From Rotherham Interchange any bus from stand A7 will stop at Rotherham hospital. The buses from stand A7 run every few minutes and take around 10 - 15 minutes for the journey.

Train
There are 3 - 4 train per hour throughout the day (various times) and the journey takes around 15 minutes. There are seven day and monthly rail cards available to purchase at Sheffield train station. Travel South Yorkshire Journey Planner
Bicycle
If you wish to cycle to the hospital there are bike racks opposite the entrance to the Education Centre and near the entrance to the main pay and display car park.

How to find the Medical Education Centre
We recommend that you access the Medical Education Centre via its own entrance and reception which is close to the main hospital entrance:
From outside the main hospital entrance:
Do not go into the main hospital entrance but instead walk past the main hospital entrance heading downhill and follow the pavement round towards the drop-off area/taxi pick up point. You'll see the Pre-Admissions Unit ahead of you, with distinctive red hand rails. Go down one flight of steps under the Pre-Admissions Unit footbridge. The entrance to the Medical Education Centre is immediately on your right. The route is marked by the yellow arrows on the map below. See also the full hospital site plans.
From within Rotherham Hospital:
The Medical Education Centre is on Level D of the hospital. Walk to Junction 1 and go downstairs to D Level. Follow the signs from there to the Medical Education Centre. Floor Plan of Level D.
