The Rotherham GP Specialist Training Programme's main aim is that at the end of the course, the graduates should be able to practice as competent, caring and committed General Practitioners and Registrars will acquire skills that will equip them to deal with everyday life in the modern general practice.

The Rotherham GP STP will assist the Registrars to deal with everyday life in the modern general practice acquire such knowledge and skills, and encourage them to take responsibility for their own learning in all aspects of the Scheme. We offer a wide variety of hospital and general practice placements, together with half-day release sessions.
